What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a competitive quotation we need to understand the event and who the stakeholders who will view the images. It is always helpful to know the number of guests or attendees as well as timelines for the delivery of the images. This enables us to plan and understand location (we can help with creative ideas and source locations). For publications, we need to understand the narrative of the story that the images will be used for. We can then with your creative designers, marketing departments and creative agencies to produce the best results.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The specialisation of the photographer is of paramount importance. Have they worked in your field before? Do they have experience at the level of photography you are looking for? These questions will only enhance the end result in promoting you your brand and story
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Graham Lee photography was born out of capturing the natural emotion of people events and products. I have been an edition and event photographer for the last 15 years, with global experience and exposure. I love to understand the clients brief and provide creative input to produce images with impact.
