To ensure we can give you a quote that meets your expectations, please be sure to include:
- The date and location of your event
- The purpose of the photographs and/or film i.e. how and where you intend to use them
- When you would like delivery of the images and/or film
- Importantly, your intended budget for the event. This saves any embarrassment on both sides when we realise our expectations are miles apart.
- If you have any clear ideas as to how you would like to end result to look, let us know. If you're happy to rely on our artistic talent and expertise, brilliant!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Set your expectations. All parties need to be clear from the outset about what is expected of us, the photographer/videographer, and you, the client. Problems always arise if we're not all singing from the proverbial hymn sheet and know who is responsible for what.
Beware Project Creep - it's that age old question: "Can you just...?" Yes, of course we can, but if it wasn't agreed in the project brief, be prepared to have it added to your invoice. We'll make sure there are no surprises, but it always helps to try and pre-plan for all eventualities.
Be aware of matching your budget to the service you're looking for. If you're working on a shoestring, don't expect a crew of 5 to turn up to create your film worthy of an Oscar. Similarly, if you expect a crew of 1, don't expect a three-camera setup, some drone footage, a collection of photographs and the option of 3 edits before delivery.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We're relatively new here. But, we've found the site to be easy to use with honest, straightforward requests. Not all enquiries convert to a sale, but that's fair enough. What is also fair is the price per lead. That can't be said of other lead generation sites!
