What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To give an accurate quote for our luxury photo booth we need to know the following information from the customer:
Date of Event, Time of event, Address of Venue, Type of event (Wedding, Birthday etc) Is there power available? Inside or outside?
Another useful question to ask on this platform, in particular, is - Are you looking to get something cheap and cheerful or do you have a larger budget to pay for a high-quality product?
As we have a luxury product, we do have a higher price point and for some people, it's more than they'd like to spend. If we had some kind of an indication of budget it would help us to get proposals to the right clients.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly - think carefully about what you want from your photo booth experience? Do you just want a little bit of fun with some inflatable props and an iPad based booth? Or are you looking to spend a bit more for a luxury experience with a booth that uses DSLR cameras and professional lighting?
Look at the prints offered by different companies - do they or could they create something that fits in well with your event? Do they offer custom print templates? Are the photos good quality?
Think about how the booth will look at your event. Do you have adequate space? Would you like a closed booth or something more open? Does the booth design complement your venue?

The Burbage Booth Company was founded in 2020 in the midst of a countrywide lockdown and global pandemic - not a great time to start an events business, right?
Well, we like to think a little differently. But let’s rewind a little first…
The Burbage Booth Company is run by myself (Scott) and my partner Polly.
In late 2018, we both quit our jobs and took a trip of a lifetime around Europe in our self converted campervan. We explored some of those most beautiful places that our continent has to offer - from the rugged Albanian mountains, to the golden beaches of Greece and everything in between. We eventually ended up in the French Alps around a year later, having gained a puppy we found along the way.
It was here in the snowy mountains, the idea for The Burbage Booth Company was conceived. We were chatting to our friends about how much we had enjoyed the photo booths weddings we’d been to and it got us thinking about how we could take that idea to the next level - to offer a premium service that utilised great technology.
With our ski season cut short and our travel plans dashed due to Coronavirus, we headed back to my hometown of Burbage in Leicestershire. After a short period of wallowing, we set to work on creating an open-air photo booth that was made from high-quality materials, looked the bee's knees and featured top-notch components used in professional photography.
With a little help from some great local businesses, we have ended up with a finished product that we are immensely proud of and one that our customers are equally as proud to have at their special event.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
Starting out as a new business - Add to Event has been brilliant for us so far and each client we have got through the platform has been excellent. We've taken our luxury photo booth to a few different venues so far - from tipis and marquees to manor houses and hotels. Recently we attended a wedding at a 5 Star hotel in Central London and we had an absolute ball. The setting was beautiful and the guests were all really fun from the outset, taking lots of pictures in the booth, sharing them on social media and leaving copies in the guestbook with thoughtful messages. It was such a hit that the bridge and groom booked us to stay for an extra 3 hours!
I'd recommend Add to Event to anybody in the events industry, especially if you are just starting out!
