JAM Duo comprises Jules on Piano and Anne-Marie playing the Cello. The sound of piano and cello is one of the most sublime combinations in music. Their repertoire is an eclectic mix of classical and contemporary music to suit all tastes and audiences.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, the type of event, the potential venue, whether indoor and outdoor, the amount of time the client would like music, and the type of music the client would like to feature in their event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask them what experience they have in their chosen field and look at reviews that they have. Ask them how accommodating they can be with requests, and whether or not they are offering bespoke services like a sample recording facility.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

JAM Duo was born out of a love for music and providing clients with music to make their special event memorable. We are both passionate musicians and wanted to create a Duo that would bring our skills together and enable us to perform to a wider audience.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are new to Add to Event but so far have received two bookings through the site. This has been very easy to arrange and organise and we are really looking forward to performing at the upcoming weddings and liaising with the couples on their playlists.
