What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a comprehensive quote it is helpful if we know the date of the event, they type of event with information regarding service times, the expected guest number and the potential venue. With this information, we can tailor our offering to suit each individual event while offering a competitive quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It's a good idea to find a provider who has experience with the type of event you are hosting. If it is catering for a wedding, has the provider catered for many weddings previously? Do they have testimonials? Providers come and go so finding one with a proven track record is a good idea.
Ask plenty of questions, the provider should be able to give you as much information as you need including an accurate quote, menu and insurance details.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Hadrian's Pizza started in 2013 after we fell in love with wood-fired pizza while on a camping holiday in Italy. We wanted to share the experience of eating delicious pizza cooked quickly in a wood-fired oven when we got home so the idea of a mobile pizza oven was born. With a background in hospitality and events we set out to combine amazing pizza with fantastic service, we sourced the best equipment and began refining our technique and recipes. Eight years later we have catered for hundreds of public events and weddings, served thousands of pizzas and we still get a buzz when we see people enjoying our wood-fired pizzas.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Every wedding we cater for is unique and its always special to be involved in helping a couple have the best day ever. One wedding which comes to mind and was booked through Add to Event was for a couple who lived apart due to the groom being in the army. They were getting married the day after he returned home on leave and there had been a lot of correspondence as we all worked hard to make sure every detail of what we would be providing would be just right. On the big day, the weather was perfect, the bride and groom were so happy and the food we provided went down a storm with so much fantastic feedback. Due to the way we had worked the wedding venue asked us to be their recommended supplier and we went on to cater for the Christening of the happy couples little boy.
