What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to provide an accurate quote we would need to know the location, event date, chosen theme (if for a sleepover or bell tent), the number of guests, size of the space to be used (to know If the tents would fit if it's indoor or if the garden is large enough for a bell tent) and any extra that the customer would like, such as cinema package, pamper packages, etc.
Also any other detail of the event that the customer can provide would help to create a more personalized and bespoke eperience.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Explain in as much detail as possible what you have in mind for the event.
Ask for the type of tents available, what themes they offer, and if they have any additional packages.
Check on the supplier's website or social media for pictures of their themes to have an idea of their offering and do not be shy on asking for something you don't see, as chances are they will be able to provide this for you.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Angela currently works as a Nanny and she spends most of the week surrounded by children, we saw there was a market to plan and organize Children's birthday parties and when we discovered sleepovers we saw this as a perfect way to start our journey in a way that lets us put a foot in the industry.
We have a great deal of imagination and enjoy using our time during weekends (and weekdays) setting up Sleepovers and Picnics and planning and trialing new themes to keep reinventing ourselves

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event has been great for the start of this, our little business, we have had most of our bookings during our first couple of months from Add to Event and we have had great fun planning and organizing them.
From a luxury Pamper theme sleepover for 6 to a Jurassic experience for 6, we continue to reinvent with each set-up adding things that create a more immersive experience.
Our latest, a Magic & Spells (harry potter based) theme was great fun to set up, we had some new decoration items that we had not used before and were not 100% sure how the result would be but we were confident that it was going to look great, and as expected we had great feedback and the girls loved their sleepover.
So far, all guests have treated us greatly, we have felt really comfortable during our set-ups and pic-up and they have taken great care of all the equipment.
