What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order for us to provide a comprehensive quote, we require the event date, location, the number of guests, and the theme you would or an idea of the theme that you'd like. You could list any extras or add-ons that you are looking for at this stage but it isn't compulsory as they can be added later. From this, we can give you a basic comprehensive quote and put together the design theme as required.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking to hire a provider, have a look at the creativity of their teepee themes. This should tell you whether they are really treating each client as an individual rather than giving you the same generic themes that are regularly seen online as there are numerous, creative ways to set up popular themes. Then ask about the process of setting up and packing down relating to the timing and if pictures of the themes that you have seen are accurate or will any element be different. Ensure to clarify the price and what is included or not.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Partyaturs was started from holding birthday parties for my children at home, it was convenient to have parties at home but also extremely full-on with the setting up, hosting the party and then the pack down and tidy up afterwards still with the children in tow. It was also difficult to find services for parties outside of the home that were happy to tweak things here and there. Things can be so generic and with birthdays being such a special and personal occasion, making the experience unique in even the smallest of ways can make a huge difference. So I wanted to offer a service that was as bespoke as possible so that clients can have whatever ideas they have in mind brought to life and take the hassle out of the set-up and pack down from having the party at home.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
What can I say? Having been using. this platform for only a very short space of time, I am super impressed with the number of bookings. Our most recent booking was another success, we were able to add tweaks to one of our themes which left our client and guests very happy- in turn making us happy! We were able to give them a great experience even though it was such a short turnaround from the enquiry to the actual event date.
