What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For a quote we need to know how many guests are attending your event, the event date and venue. The rest of the quote is determined by how much we can provide to make your event perfect for you and your guests! We're flexible through to the end, so never worry if something has been forgotten, we'll do all we can for you!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Be sure to find a provider that you feel relaxed with, but can rely on, I always prefer when a supplier I am working with can be both professional and informal. Find someone who is willing to deliver what you want, important if you want sweets to suit a dietary preference, but also to create something unique for you and your event. Finally, make sure you feel like you trust them as an individual to ensure that your event stays safe

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I got married in 2022 and made the decision to D.I.Y the decor for the event and found that I loved it! I really wanted a traditional style sweet cart to match the theme and styling but couldn't find anyone providing this service so I went out and D.I.Y'd that as well! After finding the beautiful vintage cart I knew I had to make it the main attraction and thus the name 'Rent a Cart' was born! I have since curated two more carts and have a growing collection of decor available.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I would definitely recommend Add to Event to others. All information needed to make a quote is displayed in an easy to read format and communication through the inbox system is great for sending and receiving quotes. It's hard to choose an event but it is always extra special to be part of someone's wedding day and put a smile on all their guest's faces. I attended one in Bournemouth that was booked through Add to Event in a small but beautiful church, it was an amazing experience and amusing to be stood waiting for the bride with the groomsmen and bridesmaids!
