What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote, we need the number of guests, the item/s they would like and an indication of the venue. We'd also need to know whether their venue allows external caterers and if they require PAT Testing certificates for any of the machines.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check the reviews on different platforms. Reviews mean everything and you want to know that your supplier has stuck to what they've promised to other people. Also, look at the quality of their images and see which other suppliers they are connected with to get a feel for their products and services.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We started the business after hiring a sweet cart for our own wedding. Seeing how much it made a difference to our day, and how much guests loved it, we wanted to do the same for other people. From day one, we've always prided ourselves on only getting the very best products and offering the very best service. That's reflected in the fact we have all 5-star reviews from existing customers and were voted by attendees of the I Do Wedding Show as 'Best in Exhibition', for which we're through to their finals for a regional award.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
As we are brand new to Add to Event, we haven't had any bookings yet. However, it has been recommended as THE best platform by other suppliers we're connected to, primarily The Wood Fired Pizza Company. We know that our 5-star reputation and reviews will be replicated, which is why we wanted to be on Add to Event to do more events for more lovely people.
