What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
In order to provide you with an accurate quote the main things we need to know are where the party or event location will be held, whether this is outside your home or a chosen venue, the length of time you would like to book, which can be anything from 60 minutes up to all-day and whether you would like any optional extras to make your party extra special. With this, we can then ensure that you have a correct quote from the beginning with no hidden charges.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You should hopefully find that we are the number 1 provider of gaming parties in the Yorkshire area and have been since 2013. However, if you manage to find another provider then you need to make sure you know how many seats are in their van, what their fuel prices potentially are on top of the base price and also be making sure that they are going to provide you with a great service, you can do this by reading their reviews from customers in your area.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Gamezstation started out as a hobby and was born from a love of gaming and entrepreneurial mindset, we wanted to make it easier for parents when it came to organising birthday parties by bringing the party to you! Having converted a Fiat Ducato into a gaming bus back in 2013 we now have 2 custom-built VW crafters that really give you the wow factor when they pull up outside your home or venue. Over the past six years, we have experienced rapid growth of 80% and have partnered with companies including Leeds United football club and local authorities. We absolutely love seeing those 5* reviews pop up on Facebook or Google and it really reminds us that we're so lucky to be able to do what we do and as long as we're putting a smile on that birthday boy or girls face we'll carry on doing what we do best.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
It was through another provider (not gaming related) that we became aware of Add to Event. We have been on Add to Event for a number of years now and it was a great decision, one we are really happy with. It is so easy to use and we get a high volume of traffic through the platform. I can think of one particular booking we did recently, the customer was really friendly and it was super local. The feedback was great and because she booked through Add to Event she felt she had that added accreditation.
