What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

At 2b, we love all of the finer details so the more the better!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, look at the provider's page or search them and find their showreel. They may not have filmed exactly what you're requiring but what is their quality like? Cheap isn't always best but if that's what you're looking for then don't feel bad about going with that. Although, remember that with a slightly increased price (compared to a cheaper one) you're paying for consistent quality through their projects and the ability to think quick on their feet when a problem arises - which only comes with experience.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

With around 17 years of experience between us, we have come together to create meaningful, engaging and creative work for anyone that needs video production. Ash started his career in theatre so has experience working with actors and in events and Matt started his career in TV. We both met in a camera rental company and decided that toxic work environments weren't for us. Since then, we've dedicated ourselves to helping people to share their special days and promote their products and haven't looked back since.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This is a tough one and both of us have a different event in mind. For Matt, his stand-out-event was the first wedding we filmed. We were nervous as we hadn't gone through a booking service before but everything just comes together with ease.
For Ash, his stand-out filming was when we filmed a promotional video for Brewdog. It's tough to land a client that lets you have a lot of creative freedom and they let us film while they were open too!
We would absolutely suggest anyone using Add to Event! I can't believe we didn't do this sooner.
