What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Given the originality of the service, every event should be personalised to you & your expectations - so ask the provider what makes them different to the rest - for example do they provide a design consultation prior to hire to align on the rental pieces? Then assess their offering, both in terms of value for money & overall service offered - for example are they offering extras, personalisation, going the extra mile to make your event special to you? And lastly, be sure to ask about hire period & logistics.

The ParTea Company is a family run, local small business created following our daughter's themed afternoon tea Christening. Our core values are attention to detail, care & love; which is at the heart of our business & how we interact with our clients. Our mission is to offer beautiful tablescapes for all events, big or small, levelling up the traditional afternoon tea experience to create lifelong memories at special events throughout the North West.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It's been an amazing platform to kick-start my business. I've had several jobs through Add to Event, the most memorable being a large corporate event for 100 guests in Manchester. They were staging an afternoon tea to welcome new starters to the company & it was a full end-to-end service with design consultation, delivery, set-up (including liaising with the local caterer), clean down & return - all in one afternoon.
