What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
When requesting a quote ideally I would like to know the date, where the collection address is, the ceremony address and the reception address. That helps me enormously!
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly I would check out their reviews! It tells you a lot..... and then I would ask how long they had been in business, and also why do they do what they do! I have been doing wedding chauffering for 9 years so far (as of 2021) and absolutely love what I do! I have nothing but 5* reviews that prove that I am doing something right!
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
British Classic Car Hire came about because I love old cars, and I love weddings, and somehow I could make something I enjoy doing become my work!
I love seeing everyone in their finery and I love being able to be a part of someone's special day, even if only a tiny part of their day! I have a very calm character and nature, I can be wild, but only if it is very clear that it is ok to be! Generally, I am cool as a cucumber and manage to instil that into the bride, and she arrives calm at her wedding!
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
All of my weddings go smoothly, however people have found me. I arrive early so that no one is concerned that I am not there etc... I am not a just in time type of person. The car looks stunning dressed in her ribbons and bows. The brides and bridal party are happy and then so am I!
Every wedding drive is special - every bride and every couple are special to me. I ensure that they are happy, and go above and beyond if at all possible. I would recommend Add to Event for anyone trying to find a special supplier.
