Read on for her advice on choosing a similar provider for your special day.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To quote for a celebrant service, ideally we would need to know the exact venue name and location , what kind of venue it is, date of event, number of people attending the ceremony, type of ceremony that you are looking for - outdoor/traditional/mixed religion etc and little bit of information about your circumstances ( we have gone ahead with our legals this year but am looking for a ceremony to be performed with all of our loved ones on a rescheduled date of ...... your budget (very important ) a little about you eg we have 3 young children, both professionals working full time etc.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
There is a misconception about the amount of work that goes into writing and delivering a celebrant ceremony .... couples often put in the time needed to actually deliver the ceremony, for example, 1hr thinking that is all that has to be paid for... just turn up and deliver .... a lot of time, expertise and knowledge goes into the journey that you take with a celebrant - the delivery of the ceremony itself is the last piece of the jigsaw in the service provided. If you are paying £500- 600 for a registrar led ceremony expect to pay at least the same if not more... you are receiving a unique service. If you only have a budget of £x put it in the details it saves a lot of time
Always meet your celebrant face to face- through zoom at the very least.... they are going to be representing you on one of your most important time in your lives .... you need to click!
Try and do some background homework before writing a quote .. so you know what you are looking for when you get replies.

I have an absolute passion for my work, ensuring couples create the best memories not only for themselves but for their family members too.
I have had 12 years previous industry experience in the registration service- when it comes to explaining the legalities required I have the expertise to help you go through this important part.
I believe everyone has a unique love story to retell..... its the first thing I love to listen to .... and retell to your loved ones on the day of your ceremony.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
I have had an increase of bookings recently this year with couples looking for 2021/2022 ceremonies so I have started my journeys with them all - having spent some time over zoom and talking about their requirements, helping them source suppliers and providing an outline draft of their ceremony to continue next year and work on the details of the ceremonies. I am always available to answer any questions and any queries that my couples have along the way.
