We are Surinder & Safia, a Punjabi mother-daughter award-winning family business preserving the traditional methods of North Indian village cookery.

We have relocated our business to the beautiful hamstone village of Tintinhull in South Somerset, where we hold our workshops and events. Situated in The Crown & Victoria Inn, we have private hire space for weddings, and events with outdoor space for set up of a large marquee, set in beautiful gardens. There is ample parking and we are situated next to national Trust grounds in a beautiful rural settin with very convenient access just of the A303.

We prepare high-quality, freshly-prepared Indian food for our discerning client's events. We also have a full British menu, Middle Easter menu and Fusion menu. All our wedding and event catering is now offered at our own venue.

We make all our dishes from scratch, using traditional methods and the best ingredients. Nothing is prepared from shop-bought products or commercially produced or ready-made sauces and everything is produced from the whole spice and fresh ingredients. We crush, grind, chop, peel and blend all our ingredients in-house and are the producer of the Garam Masala, which is used as a base for all Indian cookery.

We also have a cookery school, which is named Top 8 Indian cookery school in the U.K. by Olive magazine and are also a producer of artisan spice marinades and Meal Kit Boxes, which allows our customers to make their own fresh authentic North Indian food quickly and easily.
