At Smug Photography, before embarking on a photographic job, we take the time to have a little chat (with a nice cup of tea or coffee) so that we can find out the specifics of what you are looking for and how you plan to use the headshots. We can then ensure we tailor the session to match your needs.

However, please find enclosed a high-level breakdown of what you can expect:

WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY?

- Introduce myself, enquire as to the likes and dislikes of the individual and find some common ground.
- Study facial shape and form, light each person as an individual finding the best light for them.
- Take some pictures and show results – this step has an amazing effect and starts to build trust and confidence.
- A much more confident person now gives feedback and we make amends to lighting etc.
- Continue shooting and showing until we shoot a portrait you are happy with.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE SESSION?

- After the shoot we will go through images together and I'll give you my input on the strongest shots. I'll upload all your images into an online private gallery so you can view your headshot session in the office or at home in your own time.
- All images loaded onto the private gallery are password protected and you can share the link to yourself or others.
- Depending on the package you select, each one will include a specific number of images to choose for retouching (airbrushing) where I will edit out blemishes and work on adjustments to the overall image, to make it look even better!
- You can decide on those later when you are ready. All you'll have to do is to email me your final choice and I'll send you high-resolution edited versions in colour and black & white.
- All your headshots are securely stored and archived on the cloud, should you wish to have additional headshots retouched in the future.
