Great DJing starts with what you want. Whether you have a detailed playlist, a handful of favourites, a broad musical direction or simply an idea of the atmosphere you want to create, your choices become the starting point for a soundtrack shaped around you and your guests.

From your first conversation through to pressing play on the day, you’ll be dealing with the same person. You can talk through timings, format, priorities and music beforehand, knowing those details carry straight through to the final performance.

Whatever you’re planning, you can draw on experience spanning branded functions, clubs and nightlife, festivals, large public events and a broad spectrum of private celebrations, with past clients including British Airways, Amazon UK and PGL. Putting something together for Pride Month or an LGBTQ+ audience? You can draw on years of specialist work, including Brighton and Manchester Pride.

When it comes to the playlist, you have real flexibility: current pop and dance, house, disco, club classics, 80s, 90s, 00s, throwbacks, R&B and plenty in between. You and your guests can make requests in advance or on the night, or you can hand over the musical direction completely. As your event develops, your soundtrack can move with your guests, changing pace and direction as the night takes shape.

Want a version or combination of tracks made specifically for your booking? Custom edits, mash-ups and remixes can become part of your soundtrack.

Need someone to take the mic as well? You can add everything from formal MC duties and continuity announcements to good old-fashioned shout-outs.

I started DJing professionally at 18, initially playing regular club nights in Sussex before moving to London for university. From there came clubs across London and the South, a 15-year residency at Revenge in Brighton, Pride stages and festivals, followed by an increasingly varied mix of corporate, branded and private events.

Alongside DJing, I spent 15 years working in radio and production, including GaydarRadio, Juice Brighton, Gaydio and Capital Brighton. Spending that much time on air also made hosting, talking to a crowd and keeping live output moving second nature.

What has kept me DJing for more than 20 years is the connection people have with music. A track can belong to a particular group of friends, take somebody straight back to another time, become inseparable from a celebration or simply make a crowd collectively lose its mind for three minutes. Being trusted with music that matters to somebody still means something to me.

That career has taken me from small club booths to Pride main stages in front of crowds of up to 5,000. Twenty-odd years later, the scale might have changed, but that moment when a piece of music lands exactly as I’d hoped still hasn’t got old.

I’ve been DJing professionally since 2004, with experience spanning club residencies, major Pride events, festivals, corporate and branded events, weddings and private celebrations.

A 15-year residency at Revenge in Brighton forms a major part of that history, alongside long-running and regular appearances at venues across London and the South. Larger-scale milestones include performing on the main stages at Brighton Pride and Manchester Pride, including a crowd of 5,000 in Manchester, supporting Sonique at We Love 90s and touring with The Colour Run.

My wider career includes 15 years in radio and production with GaydarRadio, Juice Brighton, Gaydio and Capital Brighton, while corporate and branded work has included British Airways, Amazon UK, PGL and Intrepid Travel.

Away from live events, my own DJ edits and remixes have accumulated more than one million streams on SoundCloud.

My clients range from individuals planning weddings, milestone birthdays and private celebrations to businesses, brands, venues and event organisers producing corporate functions, staff parties, launches, Pride events and large public events.

There’s also a strong nightlife background, with regular work for clubs, bars and LGBTQ+ venues, alongside specialist experience with Pride and LGBTQ+ audiences. Bookings range from intimate private gatherings to major public events with thousands of guests, so I’m equally comfortable working directly with an individual client or as part of a wider event and production team.

I’m a member of AMPdj and carry £10 million Public Liability Insurance. I also hold a clear enhanced DBS certificate.

All sound and lighting equipment supplied for events is professionally maintained and electrically safety tested, with risk assessments and RAMS available where required. Documentation can be provided to venues, event organisers and production teams in advance.
