Operating out of the beautiful market town of Hitchin, Amani’s Kitchen brings the flavour and passion of Arabic food to the UK.
Cooking has been my passion for as long as I can remember: as a child my happy place was the big table in my grandparents’ house in Iraq, full of delicious, hearty, and aromatic food made by my grandmother, who always applied her own mouth-watering twists to classic Arabic delicacies.
Later, inspired by these childhood memories, my own home in the UK became a hub for family and friends gathering around the table, the air filled with the scent of saffron from slow-cooked saffron lamb and of rosewater syrup dripping from honey dumplings.
Now I want to share my culinary experience and passion with you.
We are available to cater for various events like:
Local food markets – where I offer mouth-watering Iraqi/Middle Eastern food, our best-selling and most talked about dishes to include :
Pulled Lamb Loaded fries, pistachio and saffron chicken, Falafel Mezza boxes, loaded rice bowls, and many more dishes to include homemade desserts like baklava cheesecake and pistachio and white chocolate pudding.
Festivals – where I provide Arabic/Middle Eastern dishes and snacks to keep you on your feet, we have been a regular at many festivals across the country like the Goat festival, the foodies festival, Cambridge festivals, St Alban's festivals, and many more to come.
For wedding and corporate events where we will set down and discuss all your requirements to create a special menu satisfying your taste and budget.
Private cooking – Hire me as a chef and I will create food that will enchant your guests on your special occasion.
Pop-up supper clubs – Informal gatherings where it’s all about taking the time to enjoy really good food, meet new people, and make friends in a relaxed and convivial atmosphere.
We are a family-run business, driven by passion and care for details with professional and friendly team members.
