I'm Andy — and I've had a few careers, but this is the one I was born to do.

Before I became a celebrant, I spent years as a police detective working on some of the most serious cases you can imagine — homicides, counter-terrorism, the kind of work where every detail matters and reading people is everything. As well as that I was a football referee in the Scottish Premiership, and I was lucky enough to run the line at a Scottish Cup Final, a League Cup Final and Champions League matches. So trust me when I say — standing in front of a crowd and commanding a room is something I'm very comfortable with.

But honestly? Nothing I've ever done comes close to the buzz of conducting a wedding.

I'm the celebrant who'll put you at ease from the moment we first speak, help you craft a ceremony that actually sounds like you, and then deliver it with warmth, heart and just the right amount of humour on the day itself. No stuffy scripts, no awkward silences — just a relaxed, personal ceremony that your guests will genuinely enjoy and you'll remember forever.

I've conducted hundreds of weddings all over Scotland — from barefoot ceremonies on beaches and wild hilltop elopements to grand celebrations at venues like Turnberry and Cameron House. I specialise in "Destination Scotland" weddings for couples travelling from abroad, as well as same-sex weddings, elopements and everything in between. Wherever you're planning to say "I do," I can legally marry you there.

I was recently named one of the Top 50 Wedding Celebrants in the World by Weddings Magazine, and I have over 150 five-star Google reviews — but the thing I'm proudest of is the number of couples who tell me their ceremony was their favourite part of the whole day.
