Our Story
My journey into magic began with a fascination for the impossible. From a young age, I was drawn to the idea that something extraordinary could happen right in front of someone’s eyes, and that sense of wonder never really left me. What started as curiosity quickly grew into a passion. I began learning sleight of hand, studying the psychology behind magic, and performing for friends and family whenever I had the opportunity. The reactions I saw — laughter, amazement, and genuine disbelief — showed me the power magic has to bring people together and create memorable moments.
Over time, that passion turned into a serious pursuit. I spent years refining my craft, performing wherever I could and developing my own performance style. Rather than focusing purely on tricks, I became more interested in the experience of magic — how it makes people feel, how it sparks conversation and how it can transform the atmosphere of a room. That philosophy still guides my performances today.
As my experience grew, I began performing professionally at weddings, private events and corporate functions. These environments allowed me to develop a style of magic that is interactive, sophisticated and perfectly suited to live events. I love being able to step into a room full of people who may not know each other and use magic as a way to break the ice and create shared moments of amazement.
Another important part of my journey has been performing at arts festivals, including the Edinburgh Fringe and Ventnor Fringe. These experiences allowed me to develop longer theatrical performances and push my creativity further, blending storytelling, psychology and audience participation into my shows.

Our Team
My business is led by myself, Angus Baskerville, a professional magician with over a decade of experience performing across the UK. I am the primary performer and creative force behind the act, responsible for developing the material, designing the performances and delivering the entertainment at each event. My focus is always on providing high-quality, engaging magic that creates unforgettable moments for audiences while maintaining a professional and polished experience for clients.
Behind the scenes, I also work closely with a small network of trusted collaborators who help ensure each booking runs smoothly. This includes event planners, venue teams, AV technicians and production staff who assist with staging, sound and event coordination when required. Their support helps make sure performances integrate seamlessly into the flow of each event.
For larger events or specialist requirements, I also have connections within the professional entertainment industry that allow me to collaborate with other performers if needed. This ensures that clients can receive a high standard of entertainment and flexibility depending on the size and nature of their event.
While the performance itself is very personal and centred around my interaction with guests, delivering a great event experience is always a team effort. From initial enquiry through to the live performance, I aim to work closely with organisers, venues and suppliers to ensure every event runs smoothly and that guests enjoy a memorable and magical experience.

I have been performing professionally since 2014, specialising in close-up magic, mind reading and stage performances for weddings, corporate events and private celebrations across the UK and internationally. My journey began studying at the world-famous Davenports Magic School in London, before joining the Leamington & Warwick Magic Society and developing my performance career.
A major milestone came in 2020 when I became a Member of The Magic Circle, one of the most respected honours in the world of magic. I have since performed at major events and festivals including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and Ventnor Fringe Festival, alongside regular bookings for luxury weddings and corporate functions.
I’ve had the privilege of performing for organisations such as Jaguar Land Rover, Volkswagen, Coventry City FC and The Samaritans, and entertaining notable figures including Sir Mo Farah, Frank Bruno, Frankie Dettori, Peter Jones and Jasper Carrott. My work has also been recognised with awards including Prestige Awards Winner 2024, Young Influencer of the Year 2024, and Cotswolds Magician of the Year 2025, and featured on ITV Central News and BBC Radio.
