Our Story
Founded during the height of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in 2023, Apex Patrol Medics Ltd began with a mission: to provide indiscriminate, life-saving care where it is needed most.
Since then, we've delivered over £30,000 in humanitarian aid and provided 10,000+ hours of frontline medical care to austere and war-torn settings. We've had the privilege of collaborating with dozens of international and non-governmental organisations to deliver aid to some of the most dangerous places in the world.
Today, our team of veteran paramedics, EMTs, and combat medics supports UK events and businesses with flexible first aid cover and the delivery of first aid training from our Gloucestershire HQ.

Our Team
I'm Jay Lawson, a Paramedic in the UK who occasionally works overseas in a humanitarian capacity.
The team includes three other Paramedics, who we like to dispatch to events to act as leads.
Working under that clinical leadership, we have an abundance of ex (and current) NHS ambulance staff. The grades we provide are:
- Paramedics - Independent clinicians registered with the HCPC capable of the most advanced care and interventions we can provide. Authorised to carry Morphine and other controlled drugs.
- Emergency Medical Technicians: Semi-independent clinicians typically employed as the clinical element of an ambulance. Capable of carrying emergency drugs.
- Emergency Care Assistants: Clinical staff with blue-light training, usually deployed supporting an EMT or Paramedic. Capable of carrying only basic drugs.
- Advanced First Aiders: First Aiders with bolt-on skills to carry some medical gases.
- First Aiders.
