Live Event PainterAbout Aya Illustration
From weddings and corporate events to private functions and brand launches, our live illustration service provides guests with a personalised keepsake they'll cherish. The process is seamless and engaging: we take a quick reference photo of your guests, allowing them to continue enjoying the event while we create custom illustrations behind the scenes. Each illustration is created from scratch, completely freehand, on A5 watercolour paper with watercolour paints and inks.
Aya Illustration pays great attention to detail when depicting guests—their poses, facial features, mood, and clothing—resulting in artwork that is both beautiful and elegant.
Later, guests return to our beautifully presented gallery setup to collect their finished portrait — a memorable and elegant takeaway that enhances their overall experience.

Our Story
Hi, I’m Zhanna,
and I’m a live event artist with a deep passion for drawing that has
been with me since childhood. My love for art led me to pursue a BA
in Illustration at Falmouth University.
in2021, I embarked on another illustration course, which introduced me to live event illustration.
After leaving university, I focused on crafting skills of speed drawing, portraiture, experimenting with different media and styles through self teaching as well as attending professional masterclasses and private illustration courses .
My passion for drawing has brought me to this day, and equally fulfilling is the opportunity to connect with new people and witness how my work brings joy to others. Their appreciation is deeply rewarding and motivating for me as a creative.
I founded Aya Illustration to bring a unique and stylish artistic touch to special occasions—from weddings and birthday parties to brand launches—capturing meaningful moments and transforming them into timeless illustrations.

Our Team
I work together with my assistant, Alper—who is also my son. He helps with photographing guests and creating social media content.
Experience
I’ve been drawing my whole life, and much of what I’ve learned has come from my own curiosity and self-teaching. This passion eventually led me to study Illustration at Falmouth University. Along the way, I’ve also taken a number of private illustration courses to keep growing as an artist.
