A little about me — I'm Heather, the face behind Balloontiful Creations by Heather.

I'm currently a full-time serving soldier in the British Army, with 17 years of service behind me. My creative journey began to really take shape in 2020, during one of the most challenging and unusual times for us all.

My son was born during the height of the COVID pandemic. With restrictions affecting how we could celebrate those precious milestones, I was determined not to let it stop me from making his special occasions memorable and celebrating them in style. That determination sparked something in me and gave me the opportunity to explore my creative side through balloons and event décor.

Alongside this, my Army life has also played an unexpected part in developing my passion. Being a mess member and having regular events and functions to celebrate has given me more opportunities to get creative, try new ideas and develop my skills.

What started as a creative passion has grown into Balloontiful Creations by Heather. Today, I love creating everything from personalised balloons and statement balloon displays to beautiful wedding backdrops and draping.

I'm continually learning, developing my skills and building a portfolio that I'm incredibly proud of. My hope is that when the time comes for me to leave the Army, this passion will become my full-time venture and the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

For me, every creation is another opportunity to do something I genuinely enjoy — bringing ideas to life and helping people celebrate their special moments in style.
