Hi there,
My name is Karen and I am a fully qualified civil celebrant achieving a distinction in my city and guilds accredited course. I pride myself on working closely with families to create meaningful, bespoke ceremonies, whether it is a celebration of marriage, vow renewal, naming or renaming ceremony, celebration of life, funeral or any other special event that you want to celebrate.
Whatever the occasion, I will use my expertise and experience to create a celebration that will be remembered and cherished for many years.
I am passionate about what I do and every detail must be right, so I take time to get to know you and your family and find out how together we can create that perfect ceremony, whether that is in a conventional setting, your home or somewhere a bit out of the ordinary.
A celebrant-led ceremony allows for complete autonomy and (with correct permission if necessary) a ceremony can be held wherever you want!
I have my own battery-operated PA system, so remote is not a problem for me...
Furthermore, I never book more than one ceremony per day, so you can rest assured that should the worst happen and things get delayed, I will not be clock-watching to leave.
I also liaise with other professionals (where required) and offer a full rehearsal before the event if you would like one.
I will ensure that I arrive at least 2 hours before (weddings) or 1 hour before (all other ceremonies) to check through the finer details.
I also give you a presentation copy of your ceremony as a keepsake, together with some wildflower seeds to plant.
