Blackmore Events Company is a full-service marquee hire and events company, specialising in weddings, parties and corporate events in the South West. We provide high-quality traditional and clearspan marquees, along with professional bar hire, tailored to suit events of all sizes.

We take a hands-on, personal approach to every event, managing everything from set-up to completion to ensure a seamless, stress-free experience. With a focus on reliability, attention to detail, and friendly service, we work closely with each client to bring their vision to life.

Blackmore events was founded by 2 lifelong friends, Jack and Angus, with a shared passion for hard work ethic and a sense of pride in everything we did, shaped by our early years in farming and horse racing.

Growing up we both spent countless hours on our respective family farms, where we learned the value of hard work, reliability and getting the job done properly - whatever the weather. Early mornings, long days and attention to detail has always been the norm.

Alongside farming, Angus spent 10 years riding race horses, riding for some of the most prestigious owners in the country.

When we started Blackmore Events, we wanted to build a business that reflected the values we had grown up with; honesty, hard work and taking pride in everything that we do.

Today we are proud to have helped, couples, families, and businesses across Dorset, Somerset, Devon and Wiltshere, from intimate garden parties to large country weddings and large corporate events to facilitate up to 10,000 guests.

We aren't a large corporate company where you'll deal with somebody different every time you call. When you book through Blackmore Events you'll always be in contact with Jack or Angus and same can be said when it comes to your event. At least one of us will always be present when putting your event together to ensure absolutely everything runs smoothly.

There's nothing more rewarding than arriving to an empty field and, a few days later, watching it become the centrepiece of someone's wedding or celebration.

After completing our first wedding in March 2025, we have since completed 10 weddings, and over 60 separate events, the largest being a corporate 60 meter x 15 meter clearspan marquee in early 2026. Having recently purchased another marquee to keep up with the increased demand, we now have the ability to undertake multiple jobs in the same weeks, so we usually have availability most weeks of the year!

We specialise mainly in weddings and corporate events, but as we can offer various tent sizes, from 6m, 9m, 12m and 15m for the largest events, we have the ability to cater for any sized event. We have an external bar to cater for up to 200 guests and internal bars to cater for anywhere between 50 and 600 guests.
