BOSSA & CO is a London-based private dining, catering and event hospitality company, bringing the warmth of Brazilian hospitality to international cuisine.

From intimate dinners and family holiday dining to weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and themed celebrations, each occasion is thoughtfully designed around the people, their tastes and the atmosphere they wish to create.

Our culinary experiences include bespoke dining menus, creative canapés, beautifully presented buffets, Brazilian and American BBQs, and tailored options for a wide range of dietary requirements.

Beyond the food, BOSSA & CO can coordinate the wider event, including professional chefs, waiting staff, bartenders, entertainment and additional celebration services.

Some stories begin with a recipe. Mine began with a love for food, music and bringing people together.

I’m Selma Araújo, a Brazilian chef and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in gastronomy and hospitality. Cooking has always been my universal language of love, a way of expressing what words sometimes cannot.

My journey has been one of discovery, creativity and continuous learning, enriched by culinary courses and experiences associated with Le Cordon Bleu, Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay. Every new technique and culture inspires me to explore beyond the familiar, always carrying a little piece of Brazil wherever my imagination takes me.

And there’s something else that has always belonged in my kitchen: music.

We love cooking with music playing, especially Bossa Nova. Born in Brazil and embraced around the world, its gentle rhythms, timeless melodies and effortless elegance capture something I deeply believe in: the beauty of bringing different influences together in perfect harmony.

That’s where the name BOSSA comes from. It’s more than a musical inspiration. It’s a feeling, a rhythm, a way of creating and welcoming people.

Just as a beautiful song brings notes together, I love bringing flavours, cultures and people around the same table.

Over the years, my passion has grown beyond preparing food. I discovered just how much I enjoy creating the entire atmosphere of a celebration, caring for the little details that allow people to feel welcome, relaxed and truly present.

Because to me, the best moments in life have three things in common: good food, beautiful music and people worth sharing them with.

With over 20 years of experience in gastronomy and hospitality, I have built my career around a passion for bringing people together through food.

My journey combines Brazilian culinary roots with international cuisine, complemented by continuous professional development through courses and training inspired by renowned culinary institutions and chefs, including Le Cordon Bleu, Jamie Oliver and Gordon Ramsay.

As the founder of BOSSA & CO, I bring together my experience as a chef and event organiser to create thoughtful, personalised celebrations. From menu development to coordinating the finer details, my aim is to make every occasion memorable and effortless for my clients.
