My name is Laura, and I am the owner and founder of Cake&Crumbs, a business I started in 2020. From a very young age, my two greatest loves have always been Art and Food.
My passion continued, I studied for many years and achieved a successful BA (Hons) degree in Decorative Arts, I then went on to complete a PGCE teaching qualification in Food & Textiles, and I am today, still working part time as a Design & Technology secondary school teacher, teaching my two favourite subjects - Food & Textiles.
Over the years, I missed the creativity that studying had allowed. In 2020, the national lockdown gave me time and freedom to be creative again and my little cake business was born. From that moment, my passion for cake design was ignited and my exciting journey into the cake decorating world began.
It has always been clear what my focus is, my goal is to make customers happy by creating something beautiful with cake as the form. From huge numbers cakes, bespoke buttercream cakes and delicate wedding cakes, you are in safe hands if attention to detail is what you are after.
