Thank you for enquiring about us at Captcha Photography, I'm Hayley and the lead photographer. It all starts in making you happy and comfortable, relaxed and confident about having your photograph taken. Whether its with your partner, family, colleagues or at work, its understanding what you want and making it all work for you. Its not just you but the colours and styling or branding to make it work visually, whether its on the wall, albums, socials or business marketing.

We have over 22 years of experience in helping to make great memories and creating profile, brand or just lovely images that reflect memories made or business ideas. We can do this on location anywhere in the Midlands or at our studio based in between Nottingham and Loughborough.

At Captcha Photography, we love what we do and we hope that shows, with over 600 weddings to our name we can organise or sit back, capture and observe making the right type of photoshoot work for you. Each image is carefully edited to ensure bright vibrant and consistent images. We edit, retouch for you as digital images, photos as prints, frames, wall art, books or albums. Our album designs are unique and exquisite and can be included or ordered after your event.

One of my hobbies is amateur dramatics and its amazing how this helps in story telling and setting a scene, I direct so I'm happy if you need someone organised and bubbly to make it all work for you. Plus, great in any situation, my car always has lights and umbrellas packed!

I put people at ease! Thats what I'm about, because being in front of a camera standing on ceremony, usually in front of other people you don't know. Well that just makes you...feel uneasy. I've been a people person since I was little, drama helped here every step of the way...I have a love for theatre, music, furry things and people.

In the late 80's, I found myself working for a new venture in the UK, software providers for Apple Computers, it was here that I was initially involved in training designers (in London) how to use an Apple computer and move to a device using a mouse (or they referred to it as a brick)! This progressed into a company called Scitex, then Creo which then became Kodak. Throughout the next 15 years I worked in Sales and dealer distribution management of bigger computer based solutions in the Graphic Arts industry and managed a dealer network. One of our pieces of equipment was the first digital camera back to hit the UK, I was involved in the team that specialised in the first installations at Christies and Sotherbies. That was just a jaw dropping amazing time.

I had my first camera (it was film...) when I was 18, and migrated to digital as soon as I could afford it...my home is full of prints, memories, my walls full of landscapes and family. It evokes something inside, my feel good places, and provides reminders of all the fun, love and happiness that I have had. I hope the images I take for you will do exactly that. Its creating a footprint in the sand...that will never wash away.

Ohhh working at Captcha since 2004 with going limited in 2014, chairperson of our local village trades association, where we put back into the community. You gotta give back to the world folks! I have never been one to push myself into awards ceremonies as most are all down to you doing the pushing (and paying). However, I did win our community award for the village in 2021. Plus our lovely business was voted Best Professional Service in Rushcliffe at the Small Business Awards. I didn't provoke this as its voted for by the public and a complete suprise on both occasions.

I have won several stage awards for performing in pantomime...does this count? Its my hobby and helps in organising the shots that I take.

For weddings, its for those who appreciate and value someone who can be organised and fun, doesn't panic in the wet and is happy getting wet, will go the extra mile, safety pins essential. When you want to ensure it all goes to plan and the photographs that are organised are done in a jiffy with love and fun! Plus when you are unsure of being photographed and need someone to help you just be...you. Thats me!
