I'm Hannah - a Dorset-based photographer, hybrid photo-video specialist, and Magic Mirror photo booth supplier working across the South of England. I cover a wide range of work: weddings, live events, theatre and performing arts, music, corporate events, and portrait work, including headshots, families, and individuals. My hybrid packages mean one person handles both photography and video, so you get consistent coverage without doubling your supplier list. My approach is documentary-led. I'm there to capture what's actually happening, not direct people into positions they feel awkward in. The result is coverage that looks and feels real. I'm a solo operator, enhanced DBS checked, and neurodivergent and accessibility-friendly. I'm welcoming to all couples and clients - LGBTQ+ inclusive without caveat.

I didn't plan to be a photographer. I picked up a camera because I wanted to understand light, and somewhere along the way I realised I was better at watching people than directing them - which, it turns out, is exactly the right instinct for documentary photography. Weddings became the natural home for that approach. There's so much happening, so much that's unrepeatable, and most of it doesn't happen in front of the camera - it happens just to the side of it. That's where I tend to be. Over the years, I expanded into hybrid coverage because couples kept asking whether I could do video too. Rather than refer them elsewhere, I trained up, invested in the kit, and built it into what I offer. One person, one consistent eye on the day, photos and video that actually match each other. I'm based in Dorset and work across the South of England. I'll travel further for the right job.

I specialise in documentary-style photography and hybrid photo-video coverage, working across weddings, live events, theatre, corporate, and portrait work throughout Dorset, Hampshire, and the wider South of England. I've built a reputation for being calm, unobtrusive, and genuinely good at capturing what's actually happening rather than staging it. Alongside weddings, I have a background in theatre and performing arts photography, live music, and corporate work - which means I'm equally comfortable in a dimly lit theatre or a festival field as I am on a wedding day.

My wedding clients tend to be couples who want their day documented rather than directed - people who feel a bit awkward in front of a camera and want a photographer who gets that. A lot of my couples are LGBTQ+, though I work with everyone. They usually care more about the atmosphere and the edit than about lining up every family permutation for formal portraits. Beyond weddings, I work with event organisers, theatres and performing arts companies, small businesses needing corporate or brand photography, and individuals wanting portraits or headshots.
