I’m a photographer based near Reading and London who focuses on capturing real moments in a relaxed and natural way. My approach is documentary-style, allowing events to unfold while I capture genuine emotions, candid interactions, and the atmosphere of the day.
I photograph weddings, birthday parties, family gatherings, and special events, always aiming to create a comfortable environment so people feel at ease in front of the camera. My goal is to deliver beautiful, timeless images that tell the story of the event and give clients memories they can look back on for years to come.

Our Story
My name is Luis, and I’m the photographer behind Castro Photography.
Photography started as a passion for capturing real moments between people — the laughter, the small interactions, and the memories that become more meaningful over time. What began as a personal creative interest quickly grew into a professional service as more families and clients began asking me to photograph their events and celebrations.
Today I specialise in photographing family events, celebrations, and small ceremonies, focusing on natural storytelling rather than stiff posing. My goal is always to create photographs that feel genuine and timeless, so my clients can look back on them years later and remember the day exactly as it felt.
Based in the Buckinghamshire countryside, I work across the Chilterns and surrounding areas capturing meaningful moments for families and local communities.

Castro Photography is run by me, Luis.
Working as a solo photographer allows me to maintain a personal and consistent approach with every client. From the first enquiry to the final gallery delivery, I handle every part of the process to ensure a smooth and professional experience.
Clients work directly with me throughout the entire journey, which helps build trust and ensures their expectations are fully understood before the event or session.
For larger events or projects that require additional coverage, I can also arrange additional photographers if needed.

Over the years I have photographed birthday parties, family sessions, First Holy Communions, small weddings, and local events. My style focuses on candid moments, natural lighting, and genuine emotion while also ensuring that important group and family photos are captured clearly.
I use professional Sony full-frame equipment to ensure high image quality and reliability in different lighting conditions.
