I have:
– a firm commitment to inclusivity, acceptance, individuality and the universality of love;
– extensive experience in sensitively supporting people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and beliefs;
– expertise in creativity and public speaking with a reputation for being both an empathic and a skilled storyteller, who has supported many people through rites of passage, and the trials and triumphs of life.
Becoming a celebrant brings all my skills and experiences of working in education for 35 years together, with a beautifully colourful and fresh approach.
I’m a vibrant, smiley, people-person, driven by my values and heart. I am positive and resilient, having personally experienced many of life’s journeys – children, divorce, bereavement, cancer to name just a few. It now means a lot to help others through their own special or difficult times.
You may also be interested to know that I am a certified romantic, failed surfer, sea-glass finder, dog and cat parent, mum to three wonderful grown boys and three amazing step-children, plus a wife to my wonderful (and very patient) husband Paul.
Whatever you’re celebrating, or facing, you can be reassured that I will be truly ‘by your side’.
