About Cheese Riot
Cheese Riot creates vibrant, cheese-led catering and tasting experiences designed to bring people together through incredible food and relaxed hospitality. Based in Sheffield and serving Yorkshire and surrounding areas, we specialise in weddings, private celebrations and corporate events that centre around artisan cheese, expertly paired drinks and generous grazing.
For weddings, we offer abundant grazing tables, evening feasts, raclette stations and our popular “morning-of” grazing boxes for bridal parties getting ready together. Our approach is sociable and relaxed, creating memorable food moments that guests naturally gather around.
For private events, hen parties and celebrations, Cheese Riot delivers beautiful grazing tables and guided cheese and drink tasting experiences featuring carefully selected British and European cheeses paired with craft beer, cider, wine, cocktails or non-alcoholic options. Each experience is designed to be fun, interactive and full of flavour.
Our corporate events bring something different to team gatherings, client entertainment and company celebrations. We provide interactive cheese and drink pairing experiences alongside large-scale grazing catering for launches, conferences and workplace events.
At the heart of Cheese Riot is a passion for artisan producers, great hospitality and creating experiences that feel generous, welcoming and memorable. We champion independent cheesemakers and drinks producers, tell the stories behind the food we serve and donate a portion of our work to the UN World Food Programme.
If you're looking for event catering that feels exciting, sociable and full of personality, Cheese Riot brings the cheese, the drinks and the riot.

Our Story
Cheese Riot was built on one simple idea: food experiences should be joyful, sociable and unforgettable — not just something that gets dropped off on a table.
Our founder Hayley started her career in hospitality working in 5-star hotels and 3-AA-Rosette restaurants, where she learned the importance of exceptional service, attention to detail and genuine care for guests. She also holds a BA (Hons) in Hospitality Management and professional Learning & Development qualifications, giving her both the industry expertise and the skills to design experiences people truly engage with.
While the standards behind Cheese Riot are incredibly professional, the atmosphere is relaxed, fun and welcoming. Hayley has always believed the best hospitality doesn’t feel stiff or formal — it feels generous, warm and full of personality.
A long-standing obsession with artisan cheese, craft drinks and fermentation led to the creation of Cheese Riot: a business built around bringing people together over incredible produce. Instead of traditional catering, we focus on shared experiences — abundant grazing tables, cheese feasts, raclette and interactive cheese and drink pairings that get people talking, tasting and enjoying themselves.
Everything we do is about the full experience. The food is exceptional, the produce is carefully sourced from independent makers and we love sharing the stories behind what people are eating and drinking. But most importantly, we want guests to relax, laugh and have a brilliant time together.
Hospitality, for Hayley, has always meant looking after people — and that extends beyond the events we serve. Cheese Riot proudly supports the UN World Food Programme, because while celebrating food is a joy, making sure people have access to it is something that truly matters. Giving back and using the business to help others is a core part of what Cheese Riot stands for.
Today Cheese Riot delivers weddings, private celebrations and corporate events across Yorkshire — combining professional hospitality with a rebellious love of cheese, drinks and great company. Great food should never be boring.

Typical Clients
Our clients are people and organisations who want memorable food experiences rather than traditional event catering. We typically work with couples planning relaxed, sociable weddings, often choosing grazing tables, evening cheese feasts or wedding-morning grazing boards for bridal parties getting ready together.
We also cater for private celebrations such as hen parties, milestone birthdays and special gatherings where guests can share beautiful grazing food or take part in guided cheese and drink tasting experiences.
On the corporate side, we work with businesses looking for something more engaging than standard buffet catering. Our clients include companies hosting team events, client entertainment, launches and workplace celebrations, along with great thank you gifts, where interactive cheese and drink pairings or large grazing tables create a social, memorable atmosphere.
Most of our clients value artisan produce, generous hospitality and a relaxed but high-quality approach to food. Many are looking for something distinctive and fun that encourages guests to gather, talk and enjoy the experience together.
