My journey into celebrancy began through personal experience of how meaningful and powerful ceremonies can be during life’s most important moments.
Having been involved in organising and delivering funeral ceremonies for loved ones, I saw first-hand how a thoughtful, well-crafted ceremony can bring comfort, connection and a sense of celebration to families and friends. That experience inspired me to train as a celebrant so I could help others mark life’s milestones in a personal and meaningful way.
Alongside my work as a celebrant, I have a professional background working with people during significant moments in their lives. This experience has helped me develop strong listening skills, empathy and the ability to create a calm and supportive environment for those I work with.
What inspires me most is hearing people’s stories – how couples met, the journeys families have taken together, and the memories that shape their lives. Every ceremony I write is unique because every story is different.
Being part of such important occasions is a real privilege, and my aim is always to create ceremonies that feel authentic, warm and memorable for everyone involved.

A key milestone in my journey was undertaking funerals for my brother and two very close friends.

This background has given me the skills to listen carefully, build trust and create ceremonies that feel genuine and meaningful.

I am currently a member of the AMC (Academy of Modern Celebrancy) and a member of the Celebrant Register. I have completed training with Regency Academy and the AMC.
