Chor Bazaarr was founded by husband-and-wife team Deepiesh K. Sethi and Pooja Sethi, who share a genuine passion for Indian food, warm hospitality and creating memorable experiences that bring people together. Their vision was to create more than simply a restaurant. They wanted Chor Bazaarr to be a destination where India’s rich culinary heritage, vibrant culture and tradition of generous hospitality could be experienced under one roof. Every event is approached personally, with careful attention given to the food, presentation, service and overall guest experience. The culinary direction is led by experienced chefs Bhaskar Sood and Premlata Raja. Their knowledge of authentic Indian cooking, regional flavours and modern presentation allows the team to offer menus that remain rooted in tradition while feeling refined and contemporary. From intimate family celebrations and private dinners to weddings, corporate events and large-scale occasions, each menu can be thoughtfully tailored to the client’s requirements. Chor Bazaarr was established in June 2024 by Deepiesh K. Sethi and Pooja Sethi, supported by an experienced culinary and hospitality team led by chefs Bhaskar Sood and Premlata Raja. Since opening, we have built a strong reputation for authentic Indian cuisine, distinctive dining experiences and attentive hospitality. A key milestone came in 2026 when Chor Bazaarr was recognised among the UK’s Top 100 Curry Restaurants by the Asian Catering Federation—an achievement that reflects the dedication of our entire team. Building on the restaurant’s success, we launched Raajasic Events, our dedicated catering and events division. This allowed us to bring the Chor Bazaarr experience to private homes, wedding venues, corporate functions and large-scale celebrations across the UK. Our experience includes intimate private dinners, family celebrations, weddings, corporate events, live food stations and fully managed catering occasions. From menu development and food preparation to presentation, staffing and event coordination, our team brings practical experience, creativity and careful attention to every detail.

Co-founder Deepiesh K. Sethi holds the MIH professional designation as a Member of the Institute of Hospitality. Chor Bazaarr has also been recognised among the UK’s Top 100 Curry Restaurants by the Asian Catering Federation. Our chefs and service team follow established food-safety, hygiene and allergen-management procedures across our restaurant and external catering operations.
