Established reputation as a private caterer which began in 1992. I am passionate about food and have catered for exclusive lunches, dinner parties and events, including weddings and christenings, with high profile, executive, Royalty and celebrity guests here in London and New York.
Author of Claire’s Kitchen; rated in the top 10 cookbooks of 2011 by the London Evening Standard. Project managed the entire self-publishing lifecycle from artistic direction to hiring skilled art director, editor and photographer.
Assisted in the running of culinary masterclasses at the coveted Divertimenti cooking school. Now runs regular private cooking lessons and demonstrations, by appointment only.
Directed catering for events where guests included CEO of high street banking brand, government officials, television and film celebrities, and the most senior members of the church.
Other highlights: Asprey art opening (2015) for 200 guests; Ascot wedding (2013) for 120 guests; private game shoots in Andalucía, Spain, for three consecutive years (1995 – 1998); major fashion house events, including Dior (New York, 2004); Conde Nast travel event held in Temple of Dendur at Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York, 2004) for 300 guests.

I provide a thoroughly professional service for all the food, a team of professional waiting staff, crockery hire for any event up to 150 people. I have 30 years experience and can create a menu to suit your occasion, needs and budget.

A friendly efficient and delicious lunch
I found Claire online. I had never had anyone prepare a meal for me before and the whole experience was easy, friendly, delicious and a pleasure. We will be going back to Claire again.
Very efficient and prompt service.
We were very impressed by Claire's efficiency and the food she provided for a post wedding lunch party. She arrived on time and dealt seamlessly with putting all the cold lunch items we'd asked for on platters ready for serving. Her food was very tasty and she was a pleasure to deal with.

Claire really helped cater for a wonderful civil wedding our family had a wonderful time everything was ready when we got home , displayed with lots of taste and she came with a waitress who helped jeep everything nice and tidy. It made my life really easy! You know you are in good hands with Claire! The kids had a wonderful lasagna and she made a beautiful wedding cake that everyone is still raving about! Thank you Claire it was just what we asked for!
