After completing his physics degree, Grayson found himself frustrated with job searching and eager to work for himself. With a passion for food, especially pizza, he bought a Roccbox oven and began selling pizzas to his friends at university.

Grayson fell in love with the pizza-making process and noticed that many in the market prioritised profits over quality and environmental responsibility. Having always eaten free-range meat and local produce and minimised his carbon footprint, he believed the best food is made with the best ingredients. He applied these principles to his pizzas, resulting in a truly unique product made using top-quality ingredients, science-based techniques, and honed experience.

Thus, CleanCrust was born, combining Grayson's love for pizza with his commitment to sustainability and quality.

CleanCrust has been running for 5+ years, catering over 200 events last year alone across the North of England.
