About Cornerstone Band

This provides versatility to include a wide range of music in the programme if your occasion demands it. At our functions we often get asked to play jazz through the meal before going on to play a full ceilidh. We usually go out as a two, three or four piece ceilidh band with Susan as resident caller who gives clear guidance to help you through the dances. The electric piano, 2 fiddles / mandolins and guitar make a big rousing Ceilidh sound, or we can easily do a Ceilidh as a duo if that suits your space or budget.

Ceilidh band for our Burns Night Celebration

The band were very friendly and slotted in with our plans beautifully. Very punctual and tidy. Susan did all the pre-event planning and got all the necessary documents to us straightaway. Our Piper actually had to cancel two hours before the event, but Andy stepped in to Fiddle instead and Ian delivered the Address and Toast to the Haggis very enthusiastically. We have asked to take him on permanently for that role as he was brilliant! They started the Ceilidh with a nice easy number, working their way through more complicated numbers as our guests became more confident with their dancing feet. We are definitely booking them again.

Great sound. Great fun

It was a fantastic afternoon with 180 people of all ages having a great time dancing with a wonderful band. We would definitely use them again x
