Cassie was pretty much born with a pen in her hand! After drawing her first face at just 1 year old, Cassie's passion began and she scribbled faces onto just about any surface she could as a child. Seeing live caricatures in action at Alton Towers in her teens was the turning point for Cassie and she began drawing caricatures which became her hobby. She pursued a career in Graphic Design and went to uni, but all her projects contained faces and lecturers even suggested she change courses to Illustration. Cassie couldn't see how she could turn her passion for capturing faces into a career until she got engaged in 2012 and realised 'Wedding Caricaturist' was an actual job! She started cutting her teeth drawing at fun days and charity events, purchasing the domain name for Cornwall Caricatures in 2013 and putting it on ice until after her 2014 wedding. She was ready to go all in, (never by halves!), and Cornwall Caricatures was unleashed in 2015. Just a year later Cassie welcomed her first child and never went back to 'work' again, so she's now been a full time Caricature Artist for a decade and has loved every minute!

Cassie has 14 years of experience drawing live at events and set up Cornwall Caricatures 11 years ago in 2025. She's drawn at over 1,000 events and has hundreds of 5* reviews. She's also the 2025 winner of 'Best Special Touch' in the 2025 TWIA Awards.
