Welcome to Craig Hayes Photography. If I had to describe my style, I would say natural, relaxed, photographing real emotions and authentic moments. I aim to photograph your wedding day as it happens in an artistic and creative way that tells the story of your wedding. I believe every wedding is unique it is part of you, your love for each other and I document that faithfully.

Our Story
For more than 15 years, I’ve been documenting weddings throughout Edinburgh and the whole of Scotland. My approach comes from years of street and documentary photography — observing, anticipating, and capturing moments as they naturally unfold. As an Army veteran, I bring reliability, professionalism, and a calm, grounded energy to every wedding. I blend into the day, letting people be themselves, and create images that feel real, relaxed, and full of personality.

It’s just me — Craig. When you book me, you get my full attention, my experience, and my commitment from the first message to the final gallery. I handle everything myself, ensuring a consistent style, a calm presence, and a personal approach throughout your entire wedding journey.
I also work closely with a small network of trusted professional photographers across Scotland. If your wedding would benefit from a second photographer, or if you’d simply like extra coverage, I can bring in someone whose style and professionalism I fully stand behind.
