I work with couples who care more about being present than performing for the camera. The big laughs, the happy tears, your mates losing it on the dance floor, your mum fixing your outfit when no one’s looking — those are the moments that matter years from now. My job is to notice them quietly and capture them naturally, without turning your wedding into a photoshoot.
Most couples tell me they were worried about feeling awkward in front of the camera — and then later say they barely noticed I was there. That’s exactly how I like it. I’ll give gentle direction when you need it (especially for group shots and a few relaxed portraits), but the rest of the day is about you enjoying every second, not posing through it.
I photograph weddings across Durham and the North East, and I take on a limited number each year so I can give every couple the attention they deserve — from helping with timeline tips before the day to delivering your photos quickly after.
If you’re planning a laid-back wedding and want photos that feel natural, joyful, and true to you, we’ll probably get along brilliantly.

Our Story
I started out creating music videos for bands - I love music what can I say. That moved over to photos for bands, gigs etc. which I love but there's no better feeling than getting "the shot" that makes a wedding day complete.
Experience
I've been creating for 20 years plus, I've had work published in the press and had media appearances.
Typical Clients
Weddings, events, gigs, party, pets, basically I'm a multi service provider. Which means I can adapt to all situations and get the shots that matter for now and the future.

Couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer than David. As we’re not from the North, we didn’t meet him until the day before, but he instantly put us at ease and felt like someone we’d known for ages. His communication leading up to the wedding was excellent, always clear and reassuring. On the day, he let everything flow naturally and captured every special moment without anything feeling staged or forced. The photos are stunning — full of emotion, laughter, and beautiful candid details. We’ll treasure them forever and can’t recommend him enough!
