Just a few things couples have said about me recently — and, to be honest, they're pretty much exactly how I want to photograph your wedding.

A wedding and event photographer with 20+ years behind the camera, originally coming from music videos, bands and live gigs. I love the energy of a great event and I love getting the shot — but I'm not interested in making your wedding feel like a photo shoot. The laughs, the tears, the hugs, the madness on the dance floor, the little moments happening when nobody thinks anyone is watching — those are the photographs that tell the real story of your day. My style is natural, candid and relaxed, with a few family groups and portraits when you want them. I'll give you some gentle direction when needed, but otherwise I'll blend into the background and let the day happen.

Quite a few couples have told me afterwards that they barely noticed I was there, while still getting loads of photographs they absolutely love. One recent client summed it up perfectly: I was there without ever feeling intrusive.

Before your wedding, I'll listen to what you actually want, answer your questions, make suggestions where useful and make sure I know what's important to you. I’ll also arrive prepared — often early enough to have a look around and get familiar with the venue before things get going. And because I know you're going to want to see something very soon after the big day, I aim to get preview images to you quickly whenever possible. I've even had couples receive their first taster photographs within hours.

I photograph weddings across the North East, UK and Europe, as well as parties, festivals, gigs, events, engagements and promotional photography.

I started out creating music videos for bands - I love music what can I say. That moved over to photos for bands, gigs etc. which I love but there's no better feeling than getting "the shot" that makes a wedding day complete.

I've been creating for 20 years plus, I've had work published in the press and had media appearances.

Weddings, events, gigs, party, basically I'm a multi service provider. Which means I can adapt to all situations and get the shots that matter for now and the future.
