With a professional career launched in 2003, Charlee Bangs has spent over two decades mastering the art of the dancefloor. From his early residencies at the University of Portsmouth to headlining major clubs across the UK, Greece, Cyprus, and China, he has developed a global reputation for high-energy, seamless performances.

Charlee specialises in 18–30 parties and events, bringing a sharp, modern edge to every set. Having honed his craft in the high-pressure environment of student nights, he is a true expert in the "Mashup" style—refusing to be pigeonholed and instead blending genres into a single, cohesive journey.

Whether it is a high-octane Hip Hop and Grime set, the deep grooves of House and DnB, or a crowd-pleasing mix of RnB and Top 40, his versatility is his greatest strength. His sets are a masterful fusion where old-school classics meet cutting-edge anthems, specifically curated to keep the next generation of clubbers moving.

My journey behind the decks began in 2003, fueled by a fascination with how a single track could shift the energy of an entire room. What started at the University of Portsmouth Students’ Union quickly evolved into a career defined by versatility and a refusal to stick to the "standard" playlist. From the high-intensity student circuits of the UK to international residencies in Greece, Cyprus, and China, I’ve spent over two decades refining a style that bridges the gap between underground club culture and mainstream energy.

I do what I do because I believe an event is only as good as its atmosphere. I am inspired by the "Mashup" philosophy—the art of taking the familiar and mixing it with the unexpected to create something entirely new. There is a unique thrill in reading a crowd and knowing exactly when to drop a heavy Grime beat into a House set or transition an RnB classic into a Top 40 anthem.

Specialising in events for the 16–30 demographic allows me to stay at the cutting edge of music culture. Whether it’s a high-profile ball, a landmark birthday, or a packed club night, my goal remains the same: to bring a professional, tour-grade experience to every dancefloor I command. For me, it isn’t just about playing tracks; it’s about creating the sonic backdrop for life’s best memories.

With a career spanning over 20 years, I have transitioned from a local resident to an international performer. Since my debut in 2003, I have achieved significant milestones, including a three-year residency at the University of Portsmouth and headlining major venues across the UK, Greece, Cyprus, and China. These global stages have allowed me to master the art of the multi-genre set, ensuring I can read any crowd, anywhere in the world.

Beyond the DJ booth, my passion for sound has extended into the studio. I have successfully written and released five original tracks, a journey that has deepened my technical understanding of music production and allows me to bring a producer’s ear to every live performance.

My experience is defined by a commitment to professional excellence, holding full insurance and PAT certification to ensure that my high-energy sound and lighting setups meet the standards of the most prestigious venues. I provide professional DJ services including bespoke sound and lighting for a variety of occasions. I have a wealth of experience in birthday parties, balls, and private functions, specialising in events for guests aged 16 to 30.
