About DJ Remit

From buying his first set of decks/turntables at the tender age of 11... Steven a.k.a DJ RemiT has been beat matching & working within the music and entertainment industry for over 3 decades now. Specialising in Urban Dance music... from House to Reggae, Drum & Bass to Garage... from Pirate, National & International Radio stations to performing at the Notting Hill Carnival... Steven has performed at some of the biggest clubs in London and also alongside some of the biggest names within the music industry. Whether you just require a DJ to turn up and play on pre-existing equipment… or you need a DJ including a full set up, booth, speakers, lights etc. Whatever genre of music or vibe you require at your event... Steven has you covered!!!

Our Story

I have and always have had a passion for music… specifically DJ’ing. Teaching myself how to beat match on belt driven turntables at the age of 11 tells you everything you need to know about how early I wanted to become a DJ. & ever since then… I’ve achieved and ticked off nearly every single bucket list experiences all DJ’s would love to do in a lifetime! I’ve also worked with some of the biggest names and brands on the planet! Trying to explain my full experience and knowledge within this industry would be very hard to put down on paper.

Fantastic DJ

I have used DJs before and been a bit disappointed, so was unsure whether so pay for one for my party but so pleased I did! DJ Remit was fantastic. The communication was great, he turned up on time and was so lovely. Stephen asked for a playlist and this used on the night but was happy to play requested songs too. He read the crowd really well and people danced all night. I was able to relax and focus on enjoying myself with my friends. Great night! I would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks Stephen.

Impeccable service

Steven provided an excellent service from start to finish. He created a set that catered to all age ranges and even accommodated requests on the night. He communicated throughout the lead up to my daughter’s party to ensure he knew her favourite songs and played them on the night. He arrived on time, was polite, friendly and just an all round great guy. I highly recommend to all to book him. I most definitely will be booking him in future for our parties. Thank you so much. My daughter loved the set you created for her and we look forward to booking with you again.

Absolutely brilliant DJ

DJ Remit (Steven) was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. As soon as I selected him to DJ at my Fiancés surprise 40th his communication was second to none, always stayed in touch and his excitement for the party was clear, he truly wanted it to be the best night as well. His music on the night was quality and well thought out, I gave him some genres and specific requests which he took on board and everyone at the party said how good he was, the dance floor was packed all night. I can’t recommend DJ Remit highly enough, he absolutely smashed it.

Made The Event Amazing!!

Bombarded with song requests but expertly did remixes so we heard all of them with short burst of the tracks. It was a really good night and would highly recommend DJ Remit. Will definitely use again :-)
