I'm Mama Tokus and I'm a Dudeist celebrant - a High-Priestess in the Church of the Latter-Day Dude (inspired by The Dude character in cult-movie The Big Lebowski!).

The ceremonies I preside over use warmth, participation and music to create a fun wedding that still includes sincerity and L.O.V.E. - and a few laughs too!

I'll work with you to develop a ceremony that's totally individual to you, incorporating your ideas to ensure you have an incredible, unforgettable and lovin' wedding.

I can't legally marry you, but if you do all the paperwork & sort the official stuff, I'll work with you on a funny, heartfelt and utterly memorable marriage ceremony.

I'm a seasoned singer and performer whose been officiating Dudeist ceremonies for more than 10 years.

This all began in 2013 when a singing pal asked me to preside over her wedding.

"I won't do it unless I'm internet-ordained" I told her. So together, we found the easiest, quickest internet ordination.

That turned out to be with the Church of the Latter-Day Dude - an institution that sprung up around The Dude: the hero in the cult movie The Big Lebowski.

I clicked a big, red button on the Dudeism.com website and BOOM! I was an instant Dudeist High Priestess.

We went on to co-create and carry out an INCREDIBLE wedding together, which incorporated a walk down the aisle, call & answer responses from the congregation, performances and readings from the couple's family and friends - and even a spontaneous tear-jerking moment when the couple's toddlers escaped their creche and gatecrashed the ceremony.

From that day onwards, people have asked me to conduct THEIR weddings...and the rest is history...

As an American-born performer and jazz/soul/blues singer, my purpose is to create more musical joy in the world, and doing Dudeist weddings is just another way for me to do that.

I've been carrying out Dudeist weddings, blessings, vows-renewals and even a baby-naming ceremony since 2013.
