About East Riding Ambulance Service
We support events ranging from local community celebrations and sporting fixtures through to large-scale festivals, endurance events, equestrian competitions and major public gatherings. We are also the UK's most requested martial arts and combat sports medical provider, regularly supporting events from Scotland to Devon and everywhere in between.
Unlike many event medical providers, East Riding Ambulance Service operates under CQC registration and regulation. This means our clinical services are delivered within a robust framework of governance, auditing, staff competency management, medicines management and patient safety systems designed to protect both event organisers and patients.
Every event is assigned a dedicated account manager who will support you from your initial enquiry through to event completion. Your account manager will work alongside you to develop appropriate medical provision, provide event medical planning advice, assist with SAG requirements where required, complete medical risk assessments, produce event medical plans and act as a single point of contact throughout the planning process.
Our service extends far beyond simply supplying medical staff. We work closely with organisers, venues, local authorities and partner agencies to ensure events are appropriately planned, medically supported and delivered safely. Following your event, we also provide post-event reporting, statistics and debrief support where required.
Choosing a CQC Registered Ambulance Service provides organisers with confidence that their medical provider is independently regulated, appropriately insured and operating to recognised healthcare standards. As event medical provision continues to face increasing scrutiny from governing bodies, venues and insurers, many organisers are now actively seeking regulated providers to support
Our Story
Since our formation, we have grown year on year, supporting more than 200 events annually across the United Kingdom. From community events and sporting fixtures through to festivals, combat sports, equestrian events and major public gatherings, our focus has always remained the same: delivering safe, effective medical care whilst helping organisers create successful events.
One of our proudest achievements was achieving CQC registration in 2026. For us, this was far more than a regulatory milestone. It demonstrated our commitment to patient safety, clinical governance, staff development and delivering healthcare services to recognised national standards. We believe event organisers deserve more than simply hiring medical staff; they deserve a provider that is accountable, regulated and committed to continuous improvement.
Innovation has also played a major role in our growth. Through our PH360 platform, we provide integrated event planning, clinical documentation, operational management and reporting systems that support our clients, staff and patients before, during and after every event. This enables greater transparency, improved communication and enhanced operational oversight across every deployment.
Our expanding fleet of ambulances, response vehicles and specialist equipment allows us to adapt quickly to the needs of each event, whether that means providing a single responder for a local community event or establishing a fully operational event medical centre for a large-scale festival.
Perhaps the best example of our approach occurred when an event organiser contacted us less than four hours before gates were due to open after their original medical provider withdrew from the event. Within hours, East Riding Ambulance Service mobilised a complete medical operation including a dedicated Event Medical Manager, fully staffed medical teams, two ambulances and a four-bay medical centre. The event opened safely, the organiser avoided cancellation and attendees received the level of medical support they required. For us, that reflects exactly what ERAS stands for: professionalism, adaptability and delivering when it matters most.
Today, we continue to invest in our people, technology, vehicles and clinical governance systems to ensure we remain one of the UK's leading providers of event medical services.

Lovely team to work with
Thorough and accurate quote, arrived in good time, kept in touch throughout the event and followed up a few days' later. The on the day team were a pleasure to work with, and made the extra effort to be welcoming to young families and curious children as well as those who needed assistance.
Fantastic service
Thanks to ERAS for helping us out at such short notice! Excellent communication. Crew arrived on time. No complaints at all!
Fantastic Service!
East Riding Ambulance Service were a great addition to our Mental Elf Festive Fun Run. They provided a thorough risk assessment in advance of the event outlining any and all potential issues. On the day, their team of two first aiders were friendly, approachable, and ready to take care of any first aid/medical issues that could potentially arise. They also joined the festive fun by playing Christmas songs from their vehicle which helped add some cheer to the event.
Great service
Turned up when they said, we’re very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend
Competent and friendly
The paramedic seemed to know his stuff and how to service an equestrian event. He was friendly and helpful. My only concern was that he did not have a car with obvious ambulance style markings. This would have made his presence more apparent.
