Ectobusters

Fun and exciting Ghostbusters characters with all the props and equipment from the movies, complete with custom Ecto mobile. From ages 4 and up.

Both childhood mega fans, we are a husband and wife team who met in 2014 through our mutual love of Ghostbusters. We saw no reason whatsoever to grow out of it, and through Alex's talent for writing and Angela's experience as an outstanding rated childminder, we developed our fully scripted comedy show that answered the question "What would have wowed us as children?" And the Ectobusters was born!

We've been up and down the country from Bournemouth to London, Yorkshire and as far as Liverpool, taking our show since 2014. We were the very first serious Ghostbusters birthday party entertainers in full character. We wear about £2,000 worth of gear each! We built our own custom Ecto Mobile called the Party Ecto. As well as birthdays, we have performed at summer camps, universities and weddings. We are happy to adapt our show to meet the requirements of the client, such as busting the ghost of a ghost left at the altar and giving a proton pack to the bride to bust the gatecrasher ghost with us! We also created a bespoke one-off show for a set of twins, one who loved Ghostbusters and the other who loved unicorns!

We turn up in character with lights and sounds from the Party Ecto Mobile, bringing a ghost in a trap. We demonstrate how to bust a ghost, but a mishap occurs and we need the audience's help to save the day! Children become trainee ghostbusters, and the birthday girl or boy gets to wear our prototype proton pack with us. Every child meets Slimer the ghost, we have party music for training games, and every child receives a certificate at the end. Every child gets to be a hero in our adventure!
