We provide high-quality hot buffet and event catering for weddings, birthdays, private parties, corporate events, and festivals across Scotland.
All of our food is prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients, with menus designed to be generous, flavour-driven, and well-suited to self-serve or fully staffed service. Our kitchen and service are fully gluten-free and halal, and we can also create entirely vegan menus when required, with the same care and attention to flavour and presentation.

Our Story
El Dorado Taqueria was founded as a family-run business inspired by traditional Mexican home cooking passed down through generations in Michoacán, Mexico. What began as a passion for sharing authentic flavours with friends and family grew into a catering business built on quality, hospitality, and attention to detail. We are inspired by food that brings people together and believe event catering should feel both special and approachable. Our background combines hands-on kitchen experience with years of trading at markets, festivals, and private events across Scotland.
Our Team
El Dorado Taqueria is run by a small, dedicated family team led by founder and head chef Zsolt Olah. Our team includes experienced kitchen staff and event servers who share a strong work ethic, pride in presentation, and a genuine enjoyment of looking after guests. For larger events, we work with trusted, trained staff to ensure smooth service and consistent standards.
Experience
We have several years of experience catering weddings, private parties, corporate events, markets, and festivals throughout Scotland. Key milestones include trading at large outdoor events, catering weddings of up to 200 guests, and delivering fully gluten-free, halal, and vegan menus without compromise. Our experience allows us to adapt to different venues, service styles, and guest numbers with confidence
