I am a Hampshire-based photographer specialising in natural, relaxed photography for families, pets, businesses and events. I work at venues, homes, business premises and outdoor locations, depending on what suits the client and the shoot best.

My approach is calm, friendly and gently guided. I focus on helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera, while also capturing the real moments that happen naturally. For events, this means documenting the atmosphere, important people, details, candid moments and key parts of the day without making everything feel staged or awkward.

I also offer branding and small business photography, including headshots, behind-the-scenes images, team photos, product details and content for websites and social media. For family and pet photography, I keep sessions relaxed and flexible, with patience for children, nervous adults and dogs who may need a little more time.

I started Elara Photography because I wanted to create photography that feels natural, relaxed and meaningful. I have always been drawn to real moments rather than overly posed images, whether that is a family laughing together, a dog being completely themselves, a business owner doing what they love, or the atmosphere of an event as it unfolds.

My background is in photographing people, families, pets, businesses and events, and I have built my work around making people feel comfortable in front of the camera. I know a lot of people feel awkward having their photo taken, so my approach is calm, friendly and gently guided. I will give direction when it is needed, but I also know when to step back and capture things naturally.

What inspires me most is creating images that people can actually use and value. For families and pet owners, that might mean photographs that become part of their memories. For businesses and events, it might mean strong, professional images that help them show who they are, promote what they do and remember important moments properly.

I started working in a photography studio in 2021, where I gained hands-on experience and training in studio photography, client care, posing, lighting and the full process behind a professional photoshoot. That gave me a strong foundation in working with different clients and helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera.

I later started Elara Photography and continued developing my own portfolio across family, pet, branding and event photography. Since then, I have photographed studio sessions, small businesses, headshots, behind-the-scenes branding content, events and personal shoots for clients who want natural, relaxed images.

My experience has taught me how important it is to be organised, calm and adaptable. Whether I am photographing a busy event, a nervous client, a family, a dog, or a small business owner, I focus on capturing warm, natural images while making the process feel easy and comfortable.
