About Erwyd le Fol - The Conwy Jester

I am the first resident jester of Conwy since my predecessor left the town over 700-years-ago. I specialise in family events of all types from large outdoor festivals to more intimate birthday parties. My shows are booked all over the UK, Europe, and the wider world. Like all the great jesters of the past, I have a range of skills including juggling, magic, balloon twisting, stilt walking, fire-eating, glass walking, and bed of nails. All my shows are 100% family-friendly, totally self-contained, are full of amazing tricks, contain audience participation, are guaranteed to get you laughing, and will work almost anywhere from a living room for 10 people to a stage for an audience of over 1000.

I also have a number of packages for schools including circus skills workshops and two educational shows. Show one is a science show that uses circus tricks to help explain forces and motion to Foundation Phase/KS1 and KS2 children. Show two follows the journey of a time-traveling jester to teach Foundation Phase/KS1 and KS2 children about important events and famous people throughout British history. Each show is an hour-long and full of comedy, juggling, magic, and more. Circus skills workshops are a great all-inclusive, non-competitive activity that helps improve coordination, fitness, patience, concentration, and balance. Ideal for schools as well as youth clubs, leisure centers, birthday parties, Scout and Guide groups, and even corporate team building events.

I am also able to supply other acts for bookings I'm unsuitable for or for those occasions I'm fully booked.

I provide entertainment for organisations, businesses, corporations and individuals all over the World. Some of my past clients have included: the National Trust, the International Eisteddfod in Llangollen, the Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza, the Conwy Pirate Weekend, Tesco, the Grand Prix in Bahrain, the Dacorum Steam and Country Fair in Hemel Hempstead, the WESES Steam Rally in Cornwall, KFC, Sky and schools throughout the UK and the Netherlands.

Brilliant!

Russell was a great communicator from the start and was easy to get hold of. He was brilliant at interacting with all ages and has a great sense of humour. We hope that we will be able to have Russell come again to another of our church events in the future.

A lovely guy with a sincere talent! All loved him.

He arrived early, set up without fuss and was a joy to watch as he entertained everybody, young and old with great passion and seasoned talent. People kept finding me to tell me that it took them back to their own childhoods which is exactly the reason why I booked him in the first place. Great job and hope to see you again x
