Exploratorium creates unforgettable, hands-on workshops for kids that mix creativity, science and fun! We bring everything needed for the party or event — from colourful materials to full setup and tidy-up — so parents can relax while children explore, make and discover. Our workshops spark imagination, boost confidence and turn ordinary days into colourful, creative adventures.

I started Exploratorium after organising a creative science-themed birthday party for my son — and seeing how much the kids absolutely loved it! That moment inspired me to create hands-on workshops where children can explore, experiment and express themselves through art, science and imagination. I’m passionate about sparking curiosity and confidence in every child — and turning ordinary parties into colourful, creative experiences they’ll remember.

Exploratorium began in 2022 and has since hosted dozens of creative workshops and birthday parties across East Lothian, Edinburgh and beyond. What started as a one-off science party for my son has grown into a thriving small business inspiring hundreds of children through art, science and imagination. Our biggest achievement? Seeing kids light up with pride when they create something truly their own.

Exploratorium provides creative, hands-on workshops for children aged 3–12 — perfect for birthday parties, school events, after-school clubs and community celebrations. We work with parents, schools and local organisations across East Lothian, Edinburgh and surrounding areas, bringing colourful crafts, mini science experiments and screen-free fun to every event.
