Available in many magical forms — from interactive walkabout characters and grand installations (including our travelling Mermaid Aquarium), to fun & educational workshops and exciting family game shows — we truly have it all.

Our Story
Hi, I’m Laura — founder of Fantasea Factory and co-founder of Aquatic Mermaids.
We’ve been flipping our fins and sharing magical experiences with crowds, venues, and individuals for almost a decade now, and our fantastical family has grown from strength to strength over the years.
With a background in costume and prop making, presentation is at the heart of everything we do — ensuring every character and experience is crafted to the highest standard.
Our HQ is based in Sheffield, but our performers span the entire country

* My name is Laura. I come from a costume and prop-making background, with many years of experience designing, creating, and building — alongside almost a decade of performance. I care deeply about delivering the finest show possible, from start to finish… top to bottom.
Every detail matters to me — from the craftsmanship behind each costume to the magic felt by every audience member.
* Yasmin joined me on this adventure back in 2017, and together we’ve built our fabulous, fun, finned empire — wave by wave.
Yasmin is truly the soul of the sea and the life & soul of every party. She’s passionate about bringing magic and excitement to everyone involved, from our wonderful clients to our incredible team, creating unforgettable experiences wherever she goes.

Experience
Aquatic Mermaids was created in 2017 after Yasmin and I both became qualified freedivers and discovered a shared passion for mermaiding and underwater performance.
We spent many wonderful years delighting children and adults alike with our skills and watery tricks — performing at birthday parties, festivals, and even in aquariums alongside real marine life.
But soon, the time came to expand our fantasy family. We introduced an ever-growing array of fabulous creatures — including Fairies, Dragons, Unicorns, sci-fi Robots, Elves, Angels, and more — evolving into the magical world of Fantasea Factory you see today.
We spent many wonderful years delighting children and adults alike with our skills and watery tricks — performing at birthday parties, festivals, and even in aquariums alongside real marine life.
But soon, the time came to expand our fantasy family. We introduced an ever-growing array of fabulous creatures — including Fairies, Dragons, Unicorns, sci-fi Robots, Elves, Angels, and more — evolving into the magical world of Fantasea Factory you see today.
